The design of a house is the essence of everything home related.  When designing and creating a house, first comes the blueprint, and then the drawing or illustration.

Cartoons and Illustration by Jim Steck

07/18/2016- Cartoons are a special type of illustrations.  When thinking about cartoons, many of us think of classics such as Bugs Bunny or Looney Tunes.

Unlike the popular cartoon television shows, Jim Steck specializes in still art.  His illustrations capture a moment in time for a cartoon character.

Whether it be a basketball game, a mad scientist, or a pizza guy, he captures a specific moment that brings their story to life.

His unique style is seen in his use of geometry, and taking simple shapes and distorting them to add his own flare.

Steck’s cartoons are so popular because of the fact that they can be appreciated by all ages.

Below are some more examples of his work, along with a link to his entire portfolio: Jim Steck’s Portfolio

DC and Marvel Superheroes together? Mais, oui

07/13/2016- For years, companies have been competing to create better superheroes than their competition.  Competitors DC comics and Marvel comics have had control over much of the superhero market for several decades.

Illustrator John Royle used characters from both DC and Marvel comic books. He added his distinctive comic book character treatment for a DC and Marvel Comics themed reading program for Les Editions Didier.

We know the French place a high value on the arts, food and culture, but apparently they also make kick-ass American comic book heroes!

All characters are copyrights of DC Comics and Marvel Comics respectively.

Earth Day

American Artists Representatives would like to increase global awareness on this particular occasion, Earth Day. Nasa.gov’s analysis of “Climate Change:  Vital Signs of the Planet:  Evidence” proves that in 1950 the highest carbon dioxide level ever recorded was between 300 and 320 ppm. As of right now, there is a recorded 400 ppm in the atmosphere. These numbers are significantly high and we are ruining the natural state of our planet. Scientists agree that global warming and consequent climate change can be largely credited to human activity alone. The top endangered species include polar bears, frogs, penguins. With a constant rise in temperature their habitats are being altered and decreasing their chance of survival. As temperatures rise, ice melts and sea levels rise. This will not only affect the animals who cannot adapt to their habitat but it will affect many people (especially those who live on coastal borders.) We need to play our part in leading environmentally sound lives. Artists such as Mardo El-Noor, Jerry LoFaro, Frank Neidhardt and Alan Male have created images via photography, typography, cgi, and photo-imaging that we hope resonate with our viewers to live more eco-friendly. Thank you for looking!
